As many of you know my favorite show (embarrassing, I know) is the Bachelor/Bachelorette/Bachelor Pad. So I’ve glanced at the pictures/job descriptions of the guys and here’s my initial thoughts before even seeing any previews:
Aaron looks like he’ll make it a week or two but not stand out unless he plays up the teacher thing.
Alessandro doesn’t have a chance unless he has a cute story as to how he became a grain merchant.
Alejandro – Mushroom farmer. Enough said. Doesn’t make it past day one.
Arie – Will bring back too many painful memories, but she might keep him for a few weeks. Or the show will keep him on for the storyline. If you don’t know he’s a racecar driver and so was her fiancee who died in the plane crash on the way to a race.
Brent looks too nerdy for her
Charlie has potential. He’s a recruiter so I have a feeling he’s good at small talk and can probably sell himself as a catch to Emily!
Chris is either going to fail miserably or win her heart. I hope it’s win her heart.
David – I’m not sure if Emily’s into the singer/songwriter thing, so I think he’ll probably leave fairly early.
Doug – Can’t really tell from the pic. Probably goes away in the middle episodes.
Jackson is a fitness model, therefore probably too shallow for her. The conversations would be incredibly… boring. Let’s face it, we all know she’s not the most exciting conversationalist out there.
Jean-Paul is my dark horse. He’s either gone in round one or going to surprisingly sweep her off her feet. I hope he lives up to his name and sweeps her off her feet (and I hope he speaks French).
Jef never got out of the early 90’s so he won’t make it into the house.
Joe has potential. He might be a contender.
John “Wolf” is a data destruction specialist. He has to be interesting to talk to just by his job title, so I think he’ll stay for a few rounds.
Kalon looks like he might not be straight. But if he acts less girly than he looks and sounds like he will be, Emily seems to live a life of luxury so it might surprisingly work well (he’s a luxury brand consultant). If my guess is correct he might make a good first gay Bachelor.
Kyle – Not sure why but I think Kyle has potential to be a contender. He just seems down to earth and like he won’t be intimidated by her. Either that or he’s going to fail miserably.
Lerone – Has potential as well – he seems like a nice guy (which I think is her type). Though I’m skeptical as to what a “real estate consultant” does vs. a real estate agent…
Michael – For the sake of Bachelor watchers everywhere we don’t need someone with long hair on the show again. Emily please send him home fast.
Nate has potential, but he’s an accountant, so I’m not sure if that’s exciting enough for Emily (sorry Andy )
Randy looks like the goofy guy who gets a few roses just because he’s funny but she doesn’t actually end up liking romantically.
Ryan is either a serious contender or a complete flop.
Sean is my favorite just from the pictures/jobs. He seems down to earth enough for her, but like he has a personality (something I hope she develops as the show goes on or it’ll be Ben’s season pt. 2)
Stevie – Party MC and Emily’s daughter are two things that won’t mix well in her mind. He’s gone as soon as she hears his job title.
Tony – Problem with Tony is his industry is kind of specific to Oregon (lumber trader). I’m doubting Emily will want to move so I’m guessing he won’t be the one for her (though he might get a few roses along the way).
Travis is also a serious contender for similar reasons as Sean
